We worked with one of our favourite event designers recently on a jungle theme event. She asked us for a statement piece celebration cake. Our very talented cake decorator created this cheeky and lifelike giant snake cake, over 4m long.
The giant snake cake is all hand carved. The vertical head is sculptured and stands up on its own.The snake cake was over 4m long.
Many hours of love and attention were needed in finishing the cake off to a lifelike version of the snake. Look closely at the snake's scales, face, neck details and air-brush finish.
The cake boards were custom finished around the snake and the design brief. The cake itself is very heavy and required heavy duty wooden boards.Just the boards for this cake measured 1.6m long on the table.
